Naomi Buck

Naomi’s inspiration comes from a love of nature and the natural beauty that surrounds her where she resides in Haines, Alaska. When she discovered a small remote beach in Southeast Alaska made of flat, smooth pebbles, she knew she needed to utilize their simple beauty in a creative way.

Naomi’s pieces are made by incorporating hand picked beach pebbles with silver, gemstones, trade beads and beach glass.  The beach stones are used in their natural state, just as they were found on a remote Alaskan beach.  Other than the tiny holes that have been drilled, they have not been altered in any way.  Since no two stones are identical, each piece is unique.  Despite the rough character of surf pounded stones, Naomi’s jewelry is both delicate and feminine while also being very beautiful and simple—like nature itself.
